Construction update

Construction has begun. Help us complete Phase 1.

Work on the new dormitory began on 28 August 2026. The brick walls are up and the ceiling is being prepared. Every gift goes to Phase 1: the new dormitory and the ground-floor classrooms for the school’s 54 students.

Winter at Tso Pema. From December to February, days are cool, nights are cold, and cold spells can bring freezing temperatures. For the students, this means cold nights in dormitories already damaged by heavy rains, and chilly mornings in overcrowded classrooms. Winter is also drier than summer, which makes it a good time to build. A gift now helps keep construction moving while the weather allows.
